Recently I mentioned that I had teamed up with Borrodell Winery, and Make Up by Sandra to offer contemporary portrait packages. They went so well that we have decided that they are going to be a regular part of the packages available with Melissa Montagliani Photography. So I thought I would tell you why I wanted to add these packages. Recently I have come to realise that I am the one who is always behind the camera, and I don’t have any nice photos of myself. When my grandmother passed away earlier this year it became apparent that the one thing that I wanted (and everybody else wanted) were  the photos that she had of herself and other family members. They were the way to go back and remember all the good, the bad and the ugly times. So when I am a grandmother, or even great grandmother I want to have images to show my family. The images that I take now are going to have a greater significance in 50 years rather than now.  Which got me thinking that I am probably not the only one! How many of you out there are thinking – Yes that is me!

Well it is time to act now – life goes by too quick, and before you know it weeks, months, or even years have passed and you still haven’t got around to getting those photos. NOW is the time to do it, not later. Don’t say when I loose this baby weight or when I tone up, or when I have more time for myself I want to have some nice photos. You are amazing and beautiful NOW!
